Is there alcohol in your tinctures?  So many on the market are pure alcohol based

Most tinctures on the market are made with a simple, alcohol-heavy extraction, which leaves a high percentage of alcohol in the final product. At The Remedy Kitchen Apothecary, we have pioneered a more advanced process to create tinctures that are non-alcohol or as close to alcohol-free as possible while still being highly potent.

Our method uses long, staged extractions and infusions, including double extractions and careful reductions, rather than relying on a single quick alcohol soak. This means we still use alcohol at specific steps to pull out the full spectrum of herbal constituents, but then we put in substantial extra work to reduce and remove as much of that alcohol as possible.

To do this, we often use double the herbs, double the base, and accept a smaller final yield, because a large portion is lost in the reduction and alcohol-removal stages. This is not the industry norm; it is a deliberately labor-intensive approach designed for customers who cannot drink, choose not to drink, or must avoid alcohol for safety or professional reasons. This commitment to a low-alcohol, deeply extracted product is what places our line firmly in the ultra-premium category and reflects our core purpose: uncompromising quality over convenience.

What types of products do you offer?

How are your products made?

Our products are crafted with love and care in micro small batches, using traditional extraction methods but with a twist we have pioneered to remove alcohol, improve potency and effect.   We believe in the power of nature, and every tincture is made to ensure you receive effective and uncomplicated herbal solutions for your health needs.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is our top priority! If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please reach out to us within 7 days of delivery. Just send us a photo along with your order number, and we’ll make it right by providing a free replacement or resolving the issue promptly.

How long does shipping take?

We aim to ship your order within 1-3 business days. However, during high-volume periods or if we need a specific ingredient, it may take a little longer. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way!  After the item has shipped, depending on the carrier transit times are usually 1-7 days.   

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of our handcrafted herbal products, we do not accept returns for safety and quality control reasons. However, if your product isn’t performing as expected, we’re here to help with replacements or store credit on a case-by-case basis.

If you’re interested in placing an international order, please contact us first. Some countries have restrictions on herbal extracts, and we want to ensure your order clears customs safely. We’re here to help you navigate this process!

We have expedited shipping options for the continental US in the checkout.   We also offer courier delivery in the Tampa Bay Florida area only via Roadie delivery.   This cost is $15 flat fee per order PLUS you need to tip your driver personally.   Tampa, St Petersburg, Apollo Beach, Bradenton and Sarasota areas only
